Your details, treated like a gift.

Celebration Studios makes made-to-order celebration experiences. To do that, you share a few details about the person you are celebrating. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it to what a celebration actually needs.

What we collect

What you type into a celebration: the recipient's name, the occasion, and the story, wishes, or notes you add. This is the content of your gift.
Your contact details: your email address, so we can send your finished celebration and order updates.
Order details: the experience and any add-ons you choose, and a record of your purchase.
Basic usage data: standard, privacy-respecting server logs (for example, that a page loaded) used to keep the site working and secure. We do not run advertising trackers.
Product analytics and session replay: we use PostHog, a third-party analytics provider, to see which pages and features people use and to replay anonymized sessions so we can find and fix what is confusing. Everything you type is masked before it leaves your browser, and all on-screen text is hidden in replays, so we see how the page was used, never what you wrote. We honor your browser's Do Not Track setting.

How we use it

To create, deliver, and host the celebration you asked for.
To email you your finished celebration, order confirmations, and, if you opt in, occasional reminders for the occasions you care about.
To take payment and prevent fraud.
To keep the service reliable and secure.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Who we share with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We use a small number of service providers strictly to run Celebration Studios:

Stripe for payments.
Cloudflare for hosting and delivery.
An email delivery provider to send your celebration and order messages.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people using the service.

The people you celebrate

A celebration is about someone else, so you may enter another person's name and details. Please only share what is kind and appropriate for a gift. The recipient link you send is private and unlisted, and is not indexed by search engines. If a recipient wants their celebration removed, we will remove it on request.

How long we keep it

We keep your celebration for as long as your plan provides (for example, a hosted experience stays live for its term, and a Keepsake is meant to be kept). You can ask us to delete your account and celebrations at any time.

Children

Celebrations are often made for children by the adults who love them. Celebration Studios accounts and purchases are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly create accounts for children.

Your choices

Access or delete: ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it.
Email: every non-essential email has an unsubscribe link; you can opt out of reminders while still receiving order messages.

Changes

If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
